What kind of decor should I get for a Paris themed birthday party ?
Paris is the city of light. So of course, for a Paris birthday party, you need to go all out with the lights ! You want a luminous party : fairy lights, lamps, lanterns and tricolour paper fans, an Eiffel Tower pinata, chic balloons... The idea is to recreate the atmosphere of Paris with a 50s vibe, or modern with a little more glitter. Prepare a sweet table with a Café de Flore or Parisian tea room vibe : cake stands and macarons, glass carafes, Bisou tableware by Mathilde Cabanas, figurines of emblems of Paris and France, some decorative flowers... And drink out of plastic wine glasses or champagne flutes to be like adults ! And as we're really nice, here's some advice for the activities : berets, treasure hunts, Paris themed puzzles, colouring sheets of monuments, 3D Paris to build, tasting macarons (yes, that's still an activity)...
Any DIY ideas for the Parisian decor ?
In the birthday party organisation, there are 3 things that are super important : the decor, the food and the activities ! But you can also add DIYs as there are decorations and activities you can make and do with the children. And luckily for you, Paris has really inspired us in terms of ideas ! Create an Eiffel Tower made out of masking tape on the wall, place cards or mini cards to present your buffet, cards with things that relate to Paris, use your old books as part of the decor, make a balloon arch in the shape of the Eiffel Tower... It's up to you !
